Sept 19 – Adrian Gallo, Climate Program Manager at the Idaho Conservation League
City Club is pleased to announce our fall schedule will begin Sept 19th with a Lunch program featuring Adrian Gallo, Climate Program Manager at the Idaho Conservation League. Adrian has a degree in soil science and geology. His curiosity of the world around him then led him to earn a master’s in sustainable forest management, and eventually a PhD in ecosystems sciences. As ICL’s Climate Program Manager, Adrian focuses on making Idaho carbon neutral through the climate, energy, and transportation sectors.
A few of the points he will discuss are:
- Brief overview of modern environmental policy success stories.
- Current status of our climate, energy, and environmental ecosystems.
- The need for investing in new clean energy projects to keep our planet and people healthy.
- What will putting an end to pollution look like for us?
It will be held in the Bennion Student Union, ISU Campus @ 1784 Science Center Dr., Idaho Falls.
Lunch begins at noon, our speaker will begin at 12:30 and Q&A will begin at 1:00pm.
RSVP’s no later than 4pm on Sept 16th. Lunch for Members is $20, for Non-Members is $25 and for the Gallery is $5 (no lunch), or you may choose to sponsor a table for 7 for $140.
Gallery seating available for presale or can be purchased on the day of event. Parking fees for the Northwest Parking lot are waved during this event.
