Secretary of State – Phil McGrane
Phil McGrane, Idaho’s Secretary of State, will join City Club to discuss Idaho’s primary election process and voter participation. First elected in 2022, McGrane oversees elections, campaign finance, and business services, bringing a background in election administration from his time as Ada County Clerk. Recently, he has drawn national attention for his stance on protecting Idaho voter data amid federal requests, highlighting ongoing conversations around election integrity and privacy. At City Club, he will offer insight into how Idaho’s elections work, what drives voter participation, and the role money plays in today’s political landscape.
